Before the Procedure

A preoperative assessment is carried out according to the surgeon's prescriptions.

A consultation with the anesthesiologist takes place no later than 48 hours before the procedure.

Recommendations:
  • No anticoagulants or products that interfere with blood clotting should be used, unless otherwise advised by the anesthesiologist.
  • Smoking cessation is required 3 to 4 weeks before the procedure, due to its impact on healing.
  • The anesthesiologist will provide specific instructions for this procedure.

The Procedure

After careful marking, fat is harvested atraumatically using a micro-cannula inserted through a very small incision concealed in a natural fold. The aspirated fat is then purified by centrifugation.

Reinjection is performed using fine cannulas inserted through approximately 1 mm incisions. Fat is deposited in micro-quantities across multiple tissue planes to maximize graft survival.

Depending on the areas to be treated, the procedure lasts 1 to 2 hours. It is often combined with a cervico-facial lift (facelift).

After the Procedure

Swelling appears quickly and takes 2 to 3 weeks to subside. Bruising fades within 10 to 20 days.

  • Avoid any sun or UV exposure for at least 6 months.
  • Initial results are visible after 2 to 3 weeks.
  • The final result is appreciated between 3 and 6 months.

Temporary social downtime should be anticipated during the swelling resolution period.
