Pre-Treatment Guidelines

A treatment plan is proposed to the patient based on their request and needs during the initial consultation.

Recommendations:
  • No anticoagulants or products that interfere with blood clotting should be used (as directed by the surgeon).
  • Smoking cessation is recommended 8 to 10 days before the procedure, due to its impact on healing.
  • Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment.

Treatment Procedure

Radiesse® injections are generally well-tolerated and can be performed without anesthesia, although a local anesthetic may be used to improve comfort. Injections are performed with fine needles or micro-cannulas depending on the chosen technique.

The number of syringes required varies according to the desired corrections:

  • Non-surgical rhinoplasty
  • Temples

The session can last from 10 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the number of areas to be treated.
