Facial injections aim to reduce expression lines caused by repeated movements of the facial muscles. They help smooth marked areas, soften expressions, and harmonize the muscular balance of the face.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines
A treatment plan is proposed to the patient based on their request and needs during the initial consultation.
- No anticoagulants or products affecting coagulation should be used (as directed by the surgeon).
- Smoking cessation is recommended 8 to 10 days before the procedure, due to its impact on healing.
- Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment.
Treatment Procedure
Injections are performed during an office visit. They are administered using fine needles or cannulas, and the session lasts a few minutes. The procedure is generally well tolerated, but a comfort local anesthesia may be offered.
The treatment involves injecting various products:
- Hyaluronic acid (Restylane®, Teoxane®, Juvéderm®, ...)
- Botulinum toxin (Botox®, Bocouture®, Dysport®, Vistabel®, Azzalure®, ...)
- Skinboosters (Radiesse®, Sculptra®, ...)
The goal of this treatment is to reduce expression lines, rebalance the action of facial muscles, recreate volume, and rejuvenate the skin.
Post-Treatment Recommendations
It is advised not to massage the treated areas, unless otherwise directed by the surgeon, for 48 hours following the injections.
It is also preferable to avoid intense physical activity for 3 days following the treatment.
