Composed of poly-L-lactic acid microparticles, a biodegradable and biocompatible substance, Sculptra® does not act as a conventional dermal filler. Its effect is progressive and natural, firming the skin, improving its texture, and restoring volumes over the long term. Results appear gradually and can last up to 24 months.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines

A treatment plan is proposed to the patient based on their request and needs during the initial consultation.

Recommendations:
  • No anticoagulants or products that interfere with blood clotting should be used (as directed by the surgeon).
  • Smoking cessation is recommended 8 to 10 days before the procedure, due to its impact on healing.
  • Do not wear makeup on the day of treatment.

Treatment Procedure

Sculptra® injections are performed using fine needles or micro-cannulas into the deep layers of the dermis.

The session lasts from 10 minutes to 1 hour. A post-injection massage is performed to evenly distribute the product.
